The truth that God is more concerned about is not whether we can guess, or discern other signs ...but rather that we follow the truths of His Word.

It has nothing to do with whether we will be affected by global warming, or how we pollute our atmosphere. It has to do with how we pollute our hearts away from Him.  

Others will claim they are more compassionate, and have a true heart for the people.  But, we are not to have a heart to the people ...we are to turn our heart towards God.

Does that mean that people who follow God are not compassionate towards people in the world?  Certainly this is not true.  Missionaries do not only drop Bibles, and then walk away ...they help with feeding the hungry, and with medical aid.

Churches form soup kitchens ...hoping the government does not put stringent standards on them, to limit their availability to serve.  If they think the practices of charitable organizations should be questioned ...would they think that food stamps can just be doled out to enter dilapidated houses with unsanitary conditions.

So much for the argument that believers don't care about other people ...because they care more is why they get all their criticism.  They also care about a person's salvation ...their eternal status.
